Glee 2x13 Reaction (Spoilers)

Feb 15, 2011 22:15

Well all right, so this episode happened and it didn't veer too far off into Crazyland. I definitely laughed more than usual ("Let her talk") and if Sam actually WAS you-know-who, I at least wouldn't hate you-know-you and his "career" as much.

And hey, nobody knew the show was gonna take a crack at doing THAT in season two!

Find out what the hell I'm talking about. )

Completely seconding the Sue point. Her raging down the hallways is really funny, but not when she's actually hurting students. That just makes me want to change the channel.

The amount of Bieber in this episode sickened me.

(I'm so glad Quinn/Sam finally died.)

Blech, yeah. One song I'll deal with just to get it out of the way, but two? Plus basically the first half of the episode? Ugh.
But whatever, it's over and the 12 year olds can consider themselves pandered to.

(I'm kind of glad to see it die, too. I really enjoyed watching them get together, and the ring scene was adorable, but other than that it was pretty much dead in the water. And it's not like they went through a bunch of trials just to be together, so the 'honeymoon' period wasn't an ounce as rewarding as Will/Emma, even though it was brief, or Finn/Rachel.)

I loved how, when Sam started singing the first one, Tina looks directly into the camera and says "Wow, this song is actually really good!". Glee writers are literally telling the audience to like it.

I think I just really hate Quinn... I mean come on, she's dated TWO guys and cheated on BOTH of them. In both situations she doesn't seem to have any guilt or remorse at all. Until she's caught, anyway.

She didn't look at the camera, but it was still a nudge from the writers, yeah. There was still a lot of anti-Bieber stuff, so I'm okay with it.

She had remorse with Finn, but not so much Sam (which I blame on the shaky writing this season). 'Cause right now the writing being blech sounds more likely than the actually wanted to portray a main character that way. What the hell happened to RIB after the season 2 premiere? Srsly.

I dunno, she seemed more concerned about keeping up the lie then what she'd done to him. The fact that she was so ready to destroy his life just to keep up her image really bothered me.

RIB?

Ack, sorry. Ryan, Ian, Brad, all three creators and writers. RIB is the shorthand everyone uses on the forum, so I've gotten used to it a bit too much.
