Ive sent my friend a lot of things, I usually save everything and send it over in one big package instead of lots of little ones. Every single one of them has been opened and checked. At first they were very careless with my packages, it would always end up missing a few things. So ever since then I've always put little notes to the american customs in my box. Something like "please make sure this arrives safely and complete, thank you very much, have a nice day" and now it's fine lol. Everything arrives in one piece.

Thank you for that link! I already bought the set but I'll keep it in mind for next time!

Last Christmas, Customs opened one of the boxes my fiance (now husband, yay!) sent over. They unwrapped our Christmas presents!! :O Then they kinda half-assed put the paper back around the gifts. We kept them inside the box until Xmas morning and I had to carefully hand them to my daughter so the paper didn't just fall off. :(

They've opened a lot of the packages he sent over when he was in the UK. I also always have my luggage searched and get pulled to secondary inspection at the airport when I fly in and out of the UK. I think I must be on someone's shit list. :-\

yes, see, this is what I was worried about when I sent over all my christmas presents. I wrote in my letter that I had spent a lot of time wrapping them and made a list of things inside. They only made a little hole in the bottom to check if I was telling the truth. So that was nice of them :-)

I think I'm on someone's list aswell though lol if there is such a thing
