I have a possible problem.
My friend in the USA's birthday is coming up and I'd like to send her a big package. She's an artist and I found this really nice case of painting supplies (paint, brushes, etc) but it also contains "painting medium" and "white spirit". These substances, am I allowed to mail them to the USA? Probably not.
If not, I've sent many packages to her before and american customs has ALWAYS opened the package and checked the content. If they did find something in a package that's not supposed to be there, what will they do? Will they simply remove what isn't allowed and send the rest? Will they keep everything? Will they fine me?
anyone have an answer to any of my questions?
