Shipping Vs. Excess Baggage Vs. USPS
I am looking to hear about people's experiences getting their belongings over from the US to the UK.
What is the most inexpensive method of bringing over a large-ish volume of books and clothing and yarn and other miscellaneous items?
I was considering a combination of mailing boxes via USPS and paying for additional baggage on my flight but I am thinking it might be cheaper to send most of it off by ocean or air freight. Does anyone have any experiences of shipping companies or have one to recommend?
