dual nationality question
If this has been covered already, I'm really sorry! This is for research for a book I'm writing. Normally I'd ask my friend, but she's doing Peace Corps work in Africa right now...
Anyway, I'm writing a novel (well, editing the first draft) and my narrator is half-American, half-English and has both passports (as does the Peace Corps friend) and often goes between the UK and the US to see family, who live in the US while he remains in England.
My question is, does anyone know what passport(s) you have to use for transatlantic visits/vacations/holidays when you have dual English and American nationality? It's kind of important for the opening scene.
