Hey all -
I searched through tags, but couldn't quite find the answer to my question. I'm working on a student visa application, and I went to get my biometrics taken yesterday. They required two printed out forms, which I brought.. but one didn't print out the bar code correctly. They did everything anyway because the form was clearly authentic, just with that one mishap, but they're not sure if the visa will take it. The form that has the bar code missing is the application itself, which, you know, seems important. I'm wondering if I can just try to print it again, and send an unstamped copy with the bar code along with my stamped copy without the bar code.
More importantly, is it possible to just go to the consulate in person to get the visa done? I did that for my French visa so I didn't have to go back and forth via mail, and it'd be awesome to find out any problems right away rather than a month before I leave!
