Using my American passport
Hello everyone,
could anyone please help me with the following ...?!
I am travelling to spain on a weeks holiday at the end of september, and i have appled for my english passport as it expired but its not due to get here on time.
I live in the UK and am a perminant resident there. I have dual nationality as my dad is american, And i know i do not need a visa to visit spain.
But there is a twist, the reason behind me not being able to get my UK passport back in time is becuase of a name change from when my mother was previously married which shows on my child passport but not on my of my documents. Now they are requesting a deed poll signed by a commisioner of Oaths to be able to continue my application =/
Luckily i have dual nationality, and i know i can go to spain as a tourist on my US pass for up to 90 days...but does anyone know of any restrictions stopping me from getting back into the UK on my US passport ?
Ive raided the internet and there is absolutely no information what so ever about this situation =(
