This afternoon Jeff and I took the kids on a sleigh ride with our little playgroup. It was a really nice day for it and we had fun bumping along through the snow...aside from getting bonked in the head with a branch every now and again.

We made it home just in time to have a couple of short visits with Kristy before she headed back to Ottawa. I wish I had of had more time to spend with her since she won't be home again for quite some time and I seriously doubt I'd get the chance to go there any time soon (at LEAST not until I'm back to work). We had a very lovely time at Kari & Randy's wedding reception. Cole and Madison were really well behaved and looked adorable in their outfits. We laughed, we ate, we danced...it was nice. Apparently all the fun got underway after we left though...but we saw lots of pictures!

Tonight I almost cried. Jeff and Cole were reading Cole's bedtime story and he was pretty much reciting this Transformers book I got him and I thought it was super cute so I got the video camera out...anyway, after his story Jeff always says Cole's prayers with him. The kids and I participated in CIBC's Run for the Cure to fundraise for breastcancer research. We raised $190 and finished the 1km part of the walk. I would have liked to have gone the full 5km, but Madi started flipping out so I figured we should head back ( Read more... )
