She's Two!
My baby girl has turned two!
She has been the most excited birthday girl ever! You say "Happy Birthday Madi!" and she gets this huge grin on her face and tells you happy birthday too.
At age 2, she's not quite ready to potty train. We had a failed attempt where I thought she was ready because she had been telling when she was needing changing and practicing pulling her pants up and down but when we tried, she would sit on her potty and ask Cole to push her around or she'd run upstairs bare bum and grab a diaper for me to put on her. Needless to say, it's on hold for now.
She's also quite the little talker. She knows tons of words. So many I couldn't even begin to count them! And she strings together phrases 3-4 words long. She knows how to get her point across and understands a lot of what you say. She knows her numbers to 20 but skips a few and at her birthday party, she showed us she recognizes some of her letters. Shapes and colors...not so much yet.
Her absolute favorites things at the moment are trains, anything Dora and little people. She's also really into the Wiggles. She is my silly girl for sure!
We had a little birthday party for her with family and she got a lot of nice gifts and a lot of much needed clothes for summer.
She's fearless and independant and stubborn as the day is long. She keeps us all on our toes!
