He's 4!
How can it feel so long ago and then just like yesterday that I discovered my wonderful little boy was growing inside me? Now he's not only here, but here and growing up with whirlwind speed! How does that happen? How does time fly by so insanely fast?
Cole is 4 years old today. My chubba bubba drooly little squirm ball has grown into a tall mischevious insightful adventurer seemingly overnight!
He entered his official preschool years with a bang!
We had family over on Saturday to celebrate with a sculpted Lightning McQueen cake, lots of balloons and a BBQ. He's all decked out for summer, has a few new toys and books and a new swing set to be built in a couple of weeks (Madi's present too)
Sunday we went to Kingswood with 6 of his friends for a playclimber birthday and ice cream cake.
Tonight we're going to Jungle Jim's for supper and to Walmart so he can spend his gift card from Grammy.
His Birthday Weekend was also spent making new friends in the neighbourhood. Yesterday we met our neighbours and the family who live on the other side of them...turns out, that family are from Miramichi! Small world! Jeff and Brent already knew each other from Douglasfield. Too funny! Their little girl and Cole will be going to school together which makes me really happy. Probably the only 2 kids on the street going to kindergarten together. Then the family between our two houses have an almost 3 year old and an 11 month old. The kids had fun playing together and it was a beautiful weekend so we got to spend a lot of time outside.
