dinner & oil
had a late dinner with matt last nite at maggiano's. it was the maggiano's by uwink in woodland hills - riz, that's where you work, right? matt gave me his leftovers and admitted that he's so put off by the traffic that he never ventures out of his hotel room much or wants to make the trip to my place. he's impressed that we make the trek to see him. i told him i'm used to driving around here, so it's no big deal for me. he was pretty excited over his early birthday present, so his sis done good.
got up early this morning to get the 6000 mi maintenance done on the ion. the wash was half-assed on their part, but at least blue looks better than it did this morning. i was there for over 2 hours, so i got about 75 pages into erin hart's haunted ground. was a good excuse for me to finally start that book. oh, and i had my donut fix - they're good about offering donuts, snacks, and beverages for the waiting room which is why i'm never too bothered by sticking around...chocolate iced twist...yummy...
now i'm at the office and am debating going home before the traffic or after. need to pack up some munchies for the weekend trip, recycle some scripts, and see if i should pay some bills. watched last nite's ep of lost and was less than impressed, but i've been fighting investment in the show since the beginning and keep losing the battle to just walk away. i mean, they're done next spring, so why not see it thru to the bitter dreadful end?
can't wait for the new office tonite - just a matter of whether i can watch it at home or view it in my office...
