back in mwc
got back from mo tonite. whirlwind 2 day trip. saw practically ALL of both sides this trip. was awesome. gpa was not feeling well today, so my selfish antics at getting his war stories on tape were diminished. thankfully, he has been rattling off stories to my aunt's husband - i told him if i don't get the words from my gpa's mouth, i was pegging him down with the camera someday.
otherwise, i set the camera on 8 month old troy, screen facing his direction, and he was enamoured with himself for a good 10 minutes - great entertainment and maybe blackmail someday.;)
on the white side, gma told me some fantabulous "growing up & working on the farms" stories. soo in the back of my head for future scripts...
can't shake the cold i acquired from partying last weekend w/ the okie girls. stupid scratchy throat. stupid smoke filled bars. had a more than expected wonderful xmas, more than wonderful trip to the homeland, and more than wonderful time hanging with the folks & friends here. sunday seems far away, but i know it'll be here before i can breathe. then reality sets in again...*sigh* city of angels, how i have not really missed you...
i still haven't drafted my birthday party evite for a week from saturday either...yipes!
