wow! it's been a while since i've been here (for my standards anyways!) i see that health problems have been solved (yay!), health problems have yet to be diagnosed (erg), and health problems are continuing(boo!)...ah, gotta love the aging process! i also see that mel will have a white xmas if she can make it home! have a safe trip, mel!! you definitely sound like a vacation is much needed...it doesn't sound like it'll happen tonite though:(

mom forgot i gave her white christmas when she was in cali, so she picked up another copy last week. she found the one i gave her in the cabinet last nite still cellophaned, so i'm bringing it back to shelby.

mom's italian sausage spaghetti w/ garlic bread
lido chinese french vietnamese (lunch w/ linda)
mom's skillet enchiladas
the quickie ham, eggs, and skillet potatoes
backyard grill burger & fries
people are so predictable - shawn missed shelby's call on saturday for the game swap & matt hasn't finished xmas shopping, so he's relying on his sister and his mother to finish it for him. saw both those coming from miles away. disappointing, but eh, when you know them so well, you shouldn't expect otherwise...
it pained me to pick up a peachy cyn incredible red for $15, but i had to grab it b/c i know it's good. i also picked up a parducci petite sirah and a woodbridge zin. we are now down to the peachy and mom's last bottle of clos du bois pinot noir. both wishing there were better wine stores around...but andy's expects me back before week's end...
denise stopped by on her way to mo and lei'd mom & me with shells made in the phillipines that she purchased in hawaii w/ rick.
saw shar & ally yesterday - ally has grown into her cheeks and looks just like her daddy. working on seeing the rest of the okies friday after brook opens her xmas presents. i need to wrap those still...
put together mom's old stereo system - or what she has left of it - last nite. it's basically a receiver which is perfect for the ideas she has for it. my dv cam looks pretty cool too. dad's tested it, but i have yet to inaugurate it. i will probably do the house tour thingy, since the house is something to show off. i've also been driving their saturn vue, even in the pouring rain yesterday, and think it's a pretty cool car, but i'm definitely not down with owning something even that size in la...i did the pickup truck in la...i'll stay sedan or sporty while i'm there...
ok, late nite shopping tonite with dad, hair appt tomorrow, brook tomorrow nite...it's cold here...
