Tale of the horrible non-date (part 2)
So after consulting a few male friends I opted for the slightly cowardice but honest approach and opted to send a text to the poor bloke saying we can have coffee, but I'm not interested in anything else. I also apologized if I had sent any wrong signals when we met.
About an hour later he wrote me back that he was thankful for my honest answer, but that if sex were not on the agenda then he saw no reason to have coffee!!!!
So here I was feeling guilty for not being interested - and then he quite honestly tells me that my company was only desirable if sex was somehow on the agenda! He obviously went for the honest approach too.
Thank heaven I'm over the age where things like that got to me.
