So Brian Bob creates an angsty post, to which people respond. Some responses are detailed, some are single words, some simply convey sympathy.
To a degree, Bob feels that he should (in some way) acknowledge said conveyance (each and every one), but it all feels entirely contrived. And Bob can't decide if saying nothing is worse than perpetuating a contrivance.
As a poster of such sympathy, what are your expectations?
