HAPPEH!
Guinness is doing well and recovering slowly, but he's doing much better. He's now eating at mealtimes with the other cats and getting an extra small can of food at night separately so no one else noms it all. The jaundice, which was mainly visible inside his ears, is receding and is no longer highlighter yellow. He's acting like himself and bitching for attention, he follows me around, and he asks for food when he's hungry. What a difference from the very ill, lethargic, not-eating cat I took to the vet almost two weeks ago. He's on antibiotics and medication to thin the bile in his liver and the plan is to watch him carefully and get bloodwork at the end of May. But he's doing so well now I have very high hopes. Whew. Mommy is relieved.
My arm is healing. Slowly. Snail/slug/turtle slow. I see the doc on Wednesday but I think my blood sugar is just so high it's really fucking up the healing. I need an appt with the regular doc to manage that.
AAAAAAAND. I made some new sims the other night when I was actually having some energy so hopefully I can post some pics of them, and my generation of the Round Robin legacy that I barely started, and might restart because I've forgotten the story I had planned for it :x In any case, Sims-related updates soon!
