Glee Season Finale - Reaction to "Goodbye"

To say I had strong reactions to last night’s episode would be quite an understatement.

I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry during the Single Ladies dance... so I ended up doing both in a sort of hiccup-y sobby laughy mess that drew Joe out of his room to find out what was going on with me and ask me what I was watching.

I really felt like Brittney's "I'm not graduating 'cause I've never been to class" announcement was... out of the blue. And I'm with you on being confused about what Santana's doing in the fall.

Rachel/Finn. Um. What? They were going to be perfectly fine with Finn going to acting school while Rachel played housewife and tried to figure out her life in New York... but now that Rachel got into her school and Finn didn't, he can't do the same? He has to run away and join the army? What? I just... don't.

I'm not even going to start in on my reaction when Rachel got into NYATA and Kurt did not. It may have to do with the fact that I actually find Rachel very annoying, but I was absolutely FURIOUS that she got in after choking on her audition and hounding the director... and Kurt, who was fabulous, did not. I could have accepted it had NEITHER of them gotten in, but I can't help but feel that Rachel stole Kurt's rightful place, and it infuriates me!

I actually thought that the way it was going to play was that Rachel would read her letter and say that she didn't get in when she actually did, and that she would lie to protect her friends from hurt. I could have accepted that, honestly. The way it played out, though, no. Do Not Want.
