Save some face, you know you've only got one

Life has its twists. Only two insights to share (I think). So I was reading this book. I just so happen to read a lot and not get enough sleep most nights... but that is aside the point. So there was this really good analogy about god and life and all that shit. I pretty sure it works for everyone even those damn die hard religious people. This is based on Schrödinger's idea about quantum mechanics though quantum stuff has nothing to do with this.

So pretend there is a man with a cat. He puts the cat in a box with a plate of good food and a plate of poisoned food. (not so nice but o well). If the man leaves the cat in there he doesn't know if the cat is dead or alive so the cat isn't alive or dead or is even there. This is called Schrödinger's Box. So anyways to my point. The same applies for the cat since he (or she) can't see the person. Maybe the man exists maybe he doesn't. So he may decide not to care (agnostic), no believe in the man at all (atheist), strongly believes in the man and would kill for that belief (any zealot from any religion). Then of course there are the people in the middle. So pretend we are all in these little boxes and whenever we die or whatever the door opens up and we either find the man, nothing, or something completely unexpected according to what we believe. To me this makes a lot of sense. And since this took longer than I thought I will not express my other insight. I know, I know, I'm talking about religion and stuff quite a bit but right now it is bothering me along with much of the rest of my life for the moment.

And I just realized that I am alone quite a bit and in most respects dislike it. It gives me some time to think and relax.

I think Mr. Gadette has conspired with my 8th grade math teacher against me. Homework Quizes have returned... AHHHHHHHH!!! I'm going to fail so damn badly. Or just do what I did in 8th grade: don't do hw, get 100% or more on all tests and quizes, and just goof around. Though I only got an -A doing that but this time around it might be pushing it to get a -B. Arrrgg... *grumble grumble*
