New D/V vid on The AlphaSite
This is not a particularly groundbreaking vid by any stretch of the imagination. It's not been beta'd (my apologies to the divine Ms. 3M). It took me all of 12 hours to put together. But there is a reason for all of these things.
Over the past few days, I've been watching some of my favorite vids, the ones that got me interested in vidding in the first place... and what I realized is that they're not "perfect". Vids like Rhiann's "Nothing Without Me" and Beth's "Crash and Burn" - two of my all-time favorite vids - have many things "technically" wrong with them... but with these vids (and some of my other favorites), it doesn't matter.
Because what these vids have that some of the most technically "perfect" vids I've ever seen don't have is... well... personality. They're fun. They're catchy. And they were obviously made by people who love the show and the characters they're vidding very, very much.
So that's what this vid is - hopefully. Fun and catchy and made by someone who loves this show and these characters very, very much.
