Again, this is all about human perception and I think that it differs from person to person. I must admit that I have pretty good "gaydar," but that it feels like far more of an intuitive thing that any sort of analysis of data. Granted, if I see a guy wearing sparkley make-up and a rainbow-hued Pride t-shirt, I might assume that he's gay, but it's the shirt that's the dead give-away. Honestly, though, gaydar is more of a vibrational thing for me. Perhaps I really am subconsciously analyzing data, but my gaydar tends to be based more on my interaction with a person than any part of physical appearance.
