So I'll do the cut thing, in case people still don't want to be spoiled :).
The sire thing. On the one hand, I didn't see that coming. It is going to keep Damon in the spot he's been in. The one where everybody goes "And none for you, Gretchen". This will kill him and he will never trust anybody ever again. It will bring a lot of opportunity for suspense. What is real and what isn't?
On the other hand, it gives Elena a card blanche, as per usual. She won't have to take responsibolity for killing Connor, or for having a relationship with somebody other than the person she wants to love. It can all be Damon's fault again. Not sure how I feel about this, as I would LOVE to have Elena take responsibility and have other characters call her out on that too.
Elena saying to Jeremy that she would never hurt him? Way to forget how she went for his jugular. I do like that dynamic though, of him having the urge to kill her because of what she is.
For a second I thought that they would move past the whole Saint Elena thing. Having that part of her die on the bridge, like she said. But no, it was all Damon's blood.
For the very start the writers made a credible Damon and Elena bond impossible, so why am I surprised that they are not commiting to it now?
Why did it take Caroline this long to tell Elena that having a relationship with Damon is all kinds of wrong? I mean, this girl calls herself a friend, while at the same time clinging to a guy who (at the very least) was abusive to Caroline. With friends like that...
What are Hayley and the prof up to? Why does he want unsired weres?
