I very rarely feel like I have anything to say. I used to write about the daily stuff, even if it wasn't interesting. I just used to write. Now I feel like I need to be inspired. And sometimes, when something really interesting does happen, I'm too busy living life to write it down. So I understand that part. I also watched Chelsea deal with very similar effects from her medication. She went from hyperactive party girl to a homebody that didn't need or want to socialise much. No highs, no lows, just a level existence. And while I understand that it's much better than the extreme lows, it must be very difficult for you bubbly outgoing types. :) So. Having said all that, you can disappear all you like, so long as you let me know when something is REALLY wrong, and you let me know every so often that you're still alive and well. I care. I worry. And being on the other side of the world means I can't do anything if you choose to ignore me. But you're my friend, a good friend, and you're my daughter's godmother which makes you part of my family. Forever. So just the occassional 'I'm still here, everything is okay, nothing is especially wrong' by email or LJ or whatever, and I'll be happy. :)
I also have to say 'FIFTY POUNDS! YOU ROCK! WAY TO GO BETH!!' Can we get an updated decent pic? I noticed you're looking slimmer in your LJ icon - is that a recent pic?
I'm really glad school is going well too. And I hope you work everything out with the disability - I'm not sure how it works over there, but I hope it helps. Also hope ex is not being too much of an ass. :)
I know, I'm so sorry, Elle....I promise not to disappear again. :o)
Yes, my new LJ icon is recent...it was yesterday. :o) And thank you!
Ok,now just for you...although I want you to know before and afters are humiliating when they don't look that different and you've lost this much weight. ;o)
Oh, it shows. Believe me, it shows. Especially in your face. Your face looks much slimmer. And your hips and legs too. You know what though? You look so relaxed in that second photo. I know it's a casual obligatory photo, but still... I have never seen a photo of you looking so relaxed in front of the camera. Way to go, Beth! Do I detect a little healthier self-esteem? :) I really am proud of you.
I'm sorry for the guilt trip about disappearing. I didn't mean to make it in to a big drama. So long as you're okay, that's cool. You look good. I'm happy. One of these days I'll post you a before/after pic of me too, although I haven't even lost half as much as you have. But hey, people can see the difference in me, so you better believe we can see it in you. :)
