Not only are we having a lovely September rain - the kind where I open my window and hear the rain pattering on the garage roof outside it, and feel a crisp, cool breeze whisking through my room and giving me goosebumps - but now we also have lightening. The bright kind, but far enough away that it's just low, grumbly thunder...not those loud, child scaring BOOMS.
I absolutely adore lightening in a completely inexplicable way. Lightening, and the sound and smell of rain, and cool, crisp breezes, and especially long, long nights.
