Google's Quote of the Day:

"The really frightening thing about middle age is that you know you'll grow out of it."
- Doris Day

Speak the word, Ms. Day. Speak the word.

I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *fan girl squeals!*

*ahem*

As of Tuesday, Geoff and Cat have another little sister. No, I did not get magically pregnant and have a remarkably short term, like Deana Troi in that one Star Trek: The Next Generation episode...although oddly enough, that is the episode where I got the name I wanted to give my son, when I had one. Ean (pronounced Eeeeeeeeee-in...like Ian, with an "E", so it makes sense that you're saying eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee).

Wow...a tangent. Haven't had one of them in a while!

I have also not become the next immaculate virgin. I know you're shocked.

No, the ex and his wife had their baby - a healthy little girl with a head full of dark hair, very dark eyes and long toes. Geoff and Cat are very excited, and I'm happy for the ex and his wife...this is their first baby together. Everyone should have at least one. :o)

And next week, I'll be attempting my first quiche. Prepare for hilarity on the level of my recent attempt at cheesecake - which, for the record, I have made in the past and gotten rave reviews on. I'm just outta practice. Yeah, that's it.

And that's all the news that's fit to print, kids. Hasta la vista.

ETA: For anyone who's counting, I have only done three revisions of this posting before I declare it finalized and walk away. World record!!"
