Overall Thoughts: I've made irreplacable friends, memories, and leaps in my writing - I plan to keep making more. ;)
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? Um, I don't know if y'all are looking at the same word count as me ... The number shocks me, but honestly, there's a lot more I wnated to write that life kept me from getting around to.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January? Just writing in the SHINee fandom in general - I was ooposed to writing real people for the longest time.
What's your own favorite story of the year? Stick It To Me Babe - I had a point to get across when I wrote this fic, and I think Ia ccomplished that. The storyline is close to my heart and what I'm passionate about.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them? Writing smut. I learned that having a beta to brainstorm with is a great help!
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year? I want to continue to grow in my writing and make improvements.
From my past year of writing, what was...
My best story of this year: Talking To The Moon - I feel it really connected to the song, had great characterization, and was really a nice peice considering the limited word count.
My most popular story of this year: Hands down Beauty & The Geek, you readers and your smut. ;)
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Trying To Catch The Sun This fic is dear to me, I love where it's heading, but I got such a limited response to it. No worries, I'm going to revamp it as a non-romantic fic and see how that goes!
Most fun story to write: Sexy Can I I was in tears writing this I laughed so hard.
Story with the single sexiest moment: Beauty & The Geek probably, but I also think Fever can compete - Key is a yoga teacher, hello ~
Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: I don't believe any of them ...
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Addicted Too Your Love didn't change my perceptions of Key so much as helped me to really get a good grasp on his character.
Hardest story to write: Any of my fics that include smut.
Biggest disappointment: He Was The New Boy In Town I still refuse to discuss this one.
Biggest surprise: I think the response to Addicted Too Your Love. It was my first popular fic, so it was very shocking to me as Ihad only just begun in the SHINee fandom at the time.
Most unintentionally telling story: I didn't mean it to be so at all, but reading back through Only You I bawl my eyes out like a baby.
