Hey, pick a topic for me to write on!
I was thinking recently about a lack of posts on livejournal recently, and realized that I haven't been posting either. I've drafted a few posts in my head, but the only topics I am coming up with are state of my love life, politics, sports and my job. I'm not sure that anybody is interested in reading about any of those. So here's the deal.

Love life - Still miss Abby a lot, infatuated with a different woman that I know isn't interested in me, and in general finding myself physically attracted to a lot of women but rarely emotionally at all. Have had a few friends offer to set me up with somebody, but I'm not sure that I'm up to putting any effort into impressing a stranger.
Politics - Sorely sorely disappointed that Obama thinks that indefinite detention is anything other than tyranny. While I agree with what he's trying to do on health care I can't get past the indefinite detention. If he doesn't change that by 2012 he doesn't get my dollars or volunteer hours, and may not get my vote. (Note, if the GOP nominates McCain again the previous sentence is moot.)
Sports - I like when the Cubs win, not so much when they lose. I'll watch Michigan football still, though I haven't had any passion for it since leaving band. Still love Michigan hockey. My Co-rec softball team was awful this year, my men's team and soccer teams are ok.
As a rule I will not post good or bad about my job in unfiltered posts.
