Hey, pick a topic for me to write on!

I was thinking recently about a lack of posts on livejournal recently, and realized that I haven't been posting either. I've drafted a few posts in my head, but the only topics I am coming up with are state of my love life, politics, sports and my job. I'm not sure that anybody is interested in reading about any of those. So here's the deal. ( Read more... )

OoooOOoooo! Would you consider doing reviews or short informative blurbs on stuff? Like places you've eaten, gone to, or maybe different games you play? I'd read that.

I don't want to commit to any regular posts - I'd only disappoint when I don't do it. But if I try anything interesting I may post a review.

Hello Donald, how have you been? My job is great (bad schedule, great kids, spending a lot of time and energy with my mom (she's ok, just aging).

I recently went to the 8th wonder of the world on 161st St. Now, understand that I must have gone to Yankee Stadium well over 100 times, including the last game at the original, opening day at the renovated place, and the final game. The isn't a sports field in the world that has the history and tradition as Yankee Stadium (opposing players have commented that the old place had a aura to it - enormous upper deck, running on the actual field where Ruth, mantle, DiMaggio, etc. played on. The new joint is an over-sized mall with a baseball field somewhere inside. I thought it was just me, missing the Stadium, but so many that I speak to really miss that very special place, with all of it's short comings, because there was something about it you can't replace. You are an avid Cubs fan - imagine them tearing down Wrigley?

I hope you are well.

Adam

What about doing a book review or two?

Of course, I could go the predictable route and say that since we don't cross paths hardly at all anymore, *I* would appreciate a summary of where you're at right now with all of the above.

Good idea. I'll have to do a little more research first.
