mambosa healing

Charlotte and and her mother took me to PetSmart, where I bought bags of Tidy Cats litter and my new favorite dry cat food, By Nature Organics, as well as more Greenies treats, which Luna and Jupiter go nuts over. Charlotte and Pam dropped me off at home, and then later in the afternoon, Charlotte was back with Billy. The two of them and Adam have been playing "Tales Of Pirates" on laptops and a desktop while the big screen is showing downloaded episodes of "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
My temperature went up earlier and I started feeling worse. Charlotte recommended aspirin, Adam recommended Vicks 44, and Charlotte and I talked about sweating out the illness. That gave me the idea to find a spice hot enough to make me sweat hardcore. Adam has a small bag in his spice cupboard containing mambosa, a West African orange powder that is similar to cayenne pepper. It is... HOT. I took a full spoonful, washed down with milk, and I was still gaping, panting, the burn flaring across my tongue. Charlotte said she could already see beads of sweat on my forehead. Adam filled a tall glass with drinkable strawberry yogurt, and I chugged it down within minutes. The burn is much more bearable now. I'm wearing long sleeves and have the heater on under my table. I plan on having some chocolate ice cream later (Breyers).
I'm hoping to be better by Monday, so I can go back to work and not worry about being too sick or weak.

friends, weekend, health
