I have mild cerebral palsy as well, and I think it's so bizarre how all the information out there (including the national site http://www.ucp.org/) seems to be geared toward dealing with CP in children. Fatigue is definitely a symptom of the neuromuscular issues for me, too.
Keep on taking care of yourself. :)

I know, right? It's frustrating. I actually didn't find out about all the additional symptoms and syndromes that can be associated with CP until I was well into my twenties.

Klonopin, eh? I have been getting Requip, a Parkinson's drug. Some days I have to take one around dinner time because one leg is starting to twitch, but usually I just take the one at bedtime.
I'll keep that in mind for next time I talk to the internist, who prescribes it.

Does the Requip actually work for you? It didn't work for my dad, and really the only thing that worked was tiny doses of Klonopin. Like, a baby-sized dose every two days.

Requip works "mostly"--I've had breakout episodes, and taking more Requip so close to the last dose seems to be a bad thing, but I should check with my internists. I got her to agree to rewrite the scrip so that I had some extra for when I get earlier twitches. I'm wondering if I should see a neurologist about this ( ... )
