Requip works "mostly"--I've had breakout episodes, and taking more Requip so close to the last dose seems to be a bad thing, but I should check with my internists. I got her to agree to rewrite the scrip so that I had some extra for when I get earlier twitches. I'm wondering if I should see a neurologist about this.

I've never been given Klonopin--none of the benzodiazepine family work on me. I have tried a few, and what happens is that the drug will work the first night only, or that it will not work at all. I was given, in spite of protests that I am insomniac who is currently depressed, not a depressed person currently having sleep problems, Serzone. I slept less and less under it, to the point where my legs were so shaky that I had to be careful lest my knees buckle and let me fall. My body (and mind) were desperate for sleep, and the only think that idiot pdoc would do was to increase the dose, until I had had enough and fired him. This was the pdoc who *never* looked at me during sessions!

I've just read the Wikipedia entry for RLS, and yes, I do want to consult a neurologist.
