Gods, my husband can cook.
Dinner was baked salmon, baby spinach romaine salad, and quesadillas made with tomato tortillas, mozzarella, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, Florida avocados, and Marie's Creamy Italian Garlic Dressing. Adam made espresso as well, and we shared a bottle of acai juice. Dessert for me will be another bowl of the Nature's Promise Organic chocolate ice cream I'd bought at Giant.
After dinner, we put on our new breathable sneakers bought at Wal-Mart (his, men's size twelve; mine, boys' size three) and walked around the neighborhood in four laps, to make a mile. These walks take half an hour and feature slight uphill and downhill slopes.
Adam had the day off, so he could fly tomorrow. He'll be flying Continental from Baltimore to New Jersey, then from New Jersey to Dallas. His return flight is Tuesday.
We will wake up together and he will drop me off at the metro before driving to Virginia. This trip will last less than a week, but that never stops me from feeling anxious.
