What the *bleep* is up with these "Once this ad ends you will be returned to your livejournal experience" crap!?
Has anyone else run into these!? You go to read a friends journal or something and one of these things pops up, takes over the whole page, and starts spattering noise through your speakers. It makes me want to punch my computer. In the face. Argh!!
I haven't been able to figure out where they come from, what triggers them, or how I can prevent them yet. But they manage to make me very angry -- and I haven't yet noticed what a single one was for!! Angering your targeted audience without even getting your message across. Smooth move with that one.
That particular blurb is as annoying as anything in and of itself. "...you will be returned to your livejournal experience". Pah. Thats right up there with "Have a happy period" for lousy brand connotations.
