Told you I'd be here forever...

So I found out this morning that my sister/roommate from AZD, Kamaria, her mom had a stroke on the fourth of July and has since been diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. I called her this morning because I just couldn't not know. K and her mom are like my mom and I, single mom, worked her butt off, raised a good girl, and sent her to college. Just like us. We used to sit and talk about our moms and how we wanted to turn out.

I am so sad for her. But her mom is doing better she said, and she's going to a nursing home to start her chemo, which is good, that she'll have great care and get a jump on this cancer. Mind you Kamaria is only about 23. So her mother is only in her late forties or so. So I thought I had it bad losing mine at 28. But I'm praying, and there's always a chance.

So any good thoughts you could send out for a nice young girl caring for her mom would be much appreciated. I want to do something for her, Beatrice was always so wonderful to us girls and Kamaria was my bestie for a while.

I don't think this is at all fair, and it really needs to tone down. I really don't want Kamaria to have to go through this yet.
