Two wrongs make it all alright
It was lovely to see Ala last night, and I'm so envious I just missed Jericho Rosales by minutes. Haha. The group that wasn't planning to head to the bar instead spent the remainder of Friday night deep frying desserts that weren't designed to be deep fried in the first place.
Our side of the table, containing Therese, Carlo, Cori, and Raymz, got all agitated during dinner as we discussed the wonderful possibilities afforded to us by the newlyweds' new deep fryer.
Deep fried Oreos and candy bars were the night's biggest successes. We also fried a couple of the Tim-Tams that Ala had given us, but the batter quickly slid off them. Awww. We fried a chocolate cupcake (yummy) and a cheese cupcake (just as yummy), M&M's (fail), chocolate-covered pretzels (fine, but the bite-sized Snickers were better). We ran out of batter before we could fry the Chocnut. We took it as a sign to finally stop frying.
I was able to bring home some of the deep fried Oreos for my brothers. Predictably, they loved them.
Right now, I'm getting dizzy just remembering them.

- My week-long six-day five-day four day foray into vegetarianism seemed to have heightened my appreciation for bacon. Heh. Also, I can give up meat easily for a week. Just not coffee.
- Signor Vinci just admitted he was an Inter fan. Waaaaaaaah! @_@ I think I'm more crushed with this news than when I found out he has a daughter. Haha. I forgot which team Tiziano Ferro was supporting-one of the Roman teams, probably Lazio? Or was that Eros Ramazzotti? I forget. Duh. Eros is a Juve fan. That's how I got into Juve in the first place.
- How awesome is Jonathan Mann's new show, Political Mann? No one can cover American politics like a Canadian can. <3 Why can't CNN put this up as a free podcast? They have videos online, but not the whole show as a podcast.
