Joys of Life
Friday, August 27th, 2004 will be a day that will live forever in my heart and mind. The day Shae and I brought the most beautiful being into this world...our daughter, Brinneal.
It was a hellish week, full of ups and downs, and tons of worry. Blood pressure too high, breech baby, running back and forth to the hospital, bed rest, the whole kit'n'caboodle. But on the friday at 11:45 AM......there are no words to describe how I felt. Pure awe, joy, serenity.....nothing comes closer than those I guess. Taking that first look at the one I felt grow and move inside me for 9 months was damn near enough to make me a religious person.
Now that we are home, I am still amazed. She is what love is made of. And to see Shae with her is so beautiful. When he sees her, there's a light in his eyes I have never seen before, and you can just feel the love he has for his little princess.
She's my little angel and she has brought heaven down to me.
