Okay, I've just discovered that the entire file of NaNoWriMo scene plans that I had worked on for several hours on saturday is now opening as a completely blank file and I'm a little pissed off and disgruntled. No actual writing lost but that planning was helping me to write faster and contained background information so that I wouldn't forget it. ( Read more... )

For those that I haven't told yet (and I don't think I've said this in my lj yet..), I've received a PhD scholarship. This means that I am guaranteed some money to live on while doing full-time study and starting an academic career.
