Magazine photos for Doll Reader interview (if they publish it) are finished.  Donation jewelry is finished and photos are submitted.  Two more jewelry commissions are photographed and sent for approval. Two hours spent on art commission.  And it's Friday, one of the rare non-sweltering summer Fridays around here.  What more can a person want? 

How did I end up with two rayguns?  Gorgeous as they are, one will have to go.  This one is for sale ($50+shipping), less than the $60 retail because it's missing a tiny piece at the end.  Box and the little stand shown in the picture are included.  Fits perfectly with SD13/SD17 sized boys, although it's a little heavy.

Back from vacation again!  This time was a short trip to Chicago with a bunch of friends to see the Harry Potter movie prop exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.  The exhibits were really well put together.  I was impressed by the effort that went into staging the different scenes, like Hagrid's hut and the dorm rooms and the Forest.  The ( Read more... )
