Aya
This is not happy news. I put it behind the cut.
Aya is gone now. Her doctors believe that she had lymphoma and a ruptured spleen that was bleeding into her abdomen. If it had been just the lymphoma, her prognosis would have been fairly good with chemotherapy, but with a serious surgery ahead of her and in her wasted condition, it wasn't going to be possible. She had just turned 8 in March.
It was just so hard. I miss her so much.
