WOOHOO!  I'm so excited!  I won my eBay bid on two 3-day passes to ACL Fest (Austin City Limits Music Festival), and got them for LESS than they were originally selling for, which is amazing since the 3-day passes have been sold out for a looooooooooong time.  So far, I know I'm going to see:

So I just saw STOMP tonight, it was a blast!  I saw them once before about 6 years ago, so enough time has passed for it to be fresh again.  It's such a fun show and there's so much energy from the crowd.  Well, with the exception of the 8 year old boy beside me who fell asleep before they even took the stage and somehow managed to sleep through ( Read more... )

Well, the concert was a blast!  A bit of a younger crowd than I expected, but the band was great.  They sounded as good live as they do on the album, and I always appreciate that!  Opener was Mute Math, which I had heard of but hadn't ever listened to their stuff.  They were actually pretty good, checking them out on iTunes ( Read more... )

Happy New Year's!  I saw the Scabs last night, had a blast...though I do prefer Bob Schneider solo now.  But still, they put on a great show and it was sold out, so I guess I got my tickets just in time, lol!

Yay, the Scabs are playing Antone's on the 30th this month and I got my tickets :)  Bob Schneider was the front man for the Scabs and went solo a while back, but they get together for a gig every 3-4 months and I just had to go.  I cannot wait, it'll be a blast.

I found out kind of late that the Fray were coming here to Austin in November, and wasn't able to get tickets. I was quite bummed, but just found out yesterday they are coming back in January! Tickets just went on sale and I was able to get pretty good seats. So it all worked out in the end :)
