This was the list for 2010 then I assume? If tis according to the stars, these days will change every year? Otherwise.. no good! I have exams scheduled on 2 or 3 of these dates /laughs

Those dates seem to be the same regardless of the year. Tycho Brahe was given the assignment of predicting unlucky days by a ruler in Prag. These are apparently the days he came up with way back then (in the 1500s).

But just as you say, if it's based on the stars the dates should change every year.

I think you should prove Tycho Brahe a fool and ace your exams.

Wasn't it him who is rumoured to have died from an exploding bladder as he had no place to relieve himself? Now that is an unlucky way to die if there ever is one!

That's the rumor, but (I've been reading up a lot on this guy) it turns out that a recent analysis of Brahe's mustache hair done at Lund University revealed high levels of lead and mercury. Their conclusion was that he actually died of mercury poisoning, probably from the high levels on lead and mercury in the serving utensils of his day.

Hm, could lead or mercury poisoning lead to urinary tract infections? I'm just speculating freely without having looked up medical facts.

The first of January is only on there because of the massive hangovers from being piss-drunk the night before.

I noticed that too. In fact, Tycho must have been a real partyer - he dealt out two days to get through over that hangover. In fact, the whole first week of the year is pretty much crap if you trust Tycho Brahe to predict it. Must be all those quickly broken resolutions.
