Twins are being effected by the DST. need to add this to the record. don't know why I missed it last year.

Alex had a cold Thursday threw Monday.
Aileen green phlegm no fever or cold.
Caoimhe good with greek salad
Saoirse doesn't like feta

Back on diet week two. no doing too bad.

I heard this on the TV " I like Pi, specially with Fibonacci sauce "...

I cringed as Aileen laughs "mommy, you can't have numbers sauce only alphabet soup."

OWEeee.. my head hurts.

 Today Aileen lost her first tooth at 5 years and 5 months (minus a week). Tomorrow she gets her period because just yesterday she took her first step.

The 2nd took looks like it will also come out today.  These were the first two teeth and they did both arrive on the same day. It is oddly fitting that they would leave on the same day together.

Aileen pick up Charlotte's Web from the wall. I find myself... slightly unprepared... in what a child should read. The copy we have is large print and has line drawings every 20 or so pages. She made it threw the first chapter by herself. She seems to be comprehending it. She answered the questions I asked. She doesn't seem interested in finishing ( Read more... )

Of School was today. She has 1/2 days till 1pm. I waked her to the door. She dismissed me with an absent wave saying" I'm not a Baby Mom I can take it form here"

(what about me! Maybe I'm not ready. I made her a lunch bag (first for me). Couldn't think what to put it in it. Like I haven't fed her before!)... Now I wait til 1.... )

Today as I was half awake:

a: Mommy Can I be a dyke when I grow up?

b: Yes you can if you want to.

a: Good. They have all the best haircuts and cool clothes. but I don't like the shoes. I have to make them better shoes. They need all the help they can get with the shoes.
