Was formally presented to the Queen this morning, which was one of the most exciting moments of my life thus far.  She was lovely and smiled broadly when I told her that I studied Northern Ireland during WWI.  My curtsey was fantastic -- deep and well-balanced.  I actually got to touch her glove!

She's quite petite but talk about star power! And making her smile makes you feel like a million dollars -- seriously. Sadly, I don't think I made it into the Christmas Message, but I am going to hoard The Times tomorrow b/c Goodenough College will be in the Court Circular!
