Was formally presented to the Queen this morning, which was one of the most exciting moments of my life thus far. She was lovely and smiled broadly when I told her that I studied Northern Ireland during WWI. My curtsey was fantastic -- deep and well-balanced. I actually got to touch her glove!
On the other hand, in about three hours, Steph and I are going to go onstage in front of the entire College and sing a special "encore" at the College's 75th Birthday Celebrations. And what are we singing a capella, you ask?

So, on the one hand, I got to touch royalty this morning, and on the other, I'm about to get spanked by everyone I live with in a resounding dose of cultural humiliation. BRING IT ON, BABY!
The USA has tanks and Switzerland has banks,
They can keep them thanks, they just don't amount
Cause when you get down to it, you find out what the truth is:
