MEMORIES
This is a list of selected memories that I have pulled out for the sake of MEMORY EXCHANGE WEEK at
a_facility. Memories are sorted out by age and if they are head-canon or canon. Each description that goes along with it is brief to keep things simple but if you wish for an expansion of descriptors on any of them, please let me know and I would be most willing to TL;DR the entire thing. I can do anything to explain more what it means, what happens before and after to writing out the dialogue for you if need be.
I'll put a note aside the memory or a strike-out if the memory becomes collected or picked up by a character for the event. All I request is that when you pick one please pick two, just encase someone else already claimed your first choice and I was just not able to edit it yet.
A ♫ implies there is music within the memory. A ☆ implies that Jonathon (
didntneedmagic) shows up in the memory.
► HEAD!CANON
Everything in this section is assumed and created just to add some depth
to Timothy's past and childhood, things that were assumed in the film but not
explored.
FATHER claιмed → bucky
"Your father was right, should just lock you up in your room."
incomplete
(s u m m a r y) The memory starts with shouting, the sounds echo off walls of a living space connected to a kitchen via an open doorway. Timothy sits on the couch while a man older than he, his father, stands over him yelling. Colorful language spills from his lips, his brow narrowed "so you're a fag?!". The entire conversation is one sided and most of the time Timothy is staring away from his sight, looking anywhere but him, tense and upset. There are rebuttals and blatant disrespect on his part, he is angry and it shows by the way he speaks to him. From what the view can tell, this has been going on awhile, this tension between the two. It's a conversation of thrown and hurdled insults, a shove, a push and eventually it ends with Timothy storming out of the room after a threat pressed forward by the man.

DODGE BALL
"Uh, Timothy needs a ball -- He needs my balls!"
0:00:20 to 0:01:12
(s u m m a r y) The scene is set during school hours, gym class. The head coach is urging the boys to try harder in their attempts at the game dodge ball despite the simplicity. Timothy is amongst the class but it is obvious that while effort is being exuded, he is uncomfortable about something, obviously not into the game as he is pointed out by the coach. While he is not completely torn apart by the boys that surround him, banter occurs which he replies to calmly: "you wish." A laugh is shared, the game begins. As the boys play, maliciously one catches Timothy's thrown ball which would have signaled he was out--instead, he returns fire and aims right for Timothy's face. The memory ends with the ball sailing quickly towards Timothy's face, who turns to see it hurled towards him just in time, then abruptly cutting off.
DAYDREAM 2/3 claιмed → alex
"Oh, Timothy."
0:04:29 to 0:05:40
♫ ☆
(s u m m a r y) The memory is colored differently, Timothy seems quiet, out of it and away from reality within the imagery. He is sitting class, he is looking down, scrawling upon a pad of paper and then draws his head upward to reveal a scene. Jonathon lounges upon the desk and behind him chalk board has his name written all over it in different fonts. His shirt opened, he looks across the room at Timothy in turn. The scene continues in song until the ringing of a school bell shakes the memory away. (Song and scene is located
HERE.)
FRIENDS
"Was it a golf ball? -- Nope -- Right, no blood."
0:06:22 to 0:08:24
♫
(s u m m a r y) Timothy sits reading over a text before his friends approach, startling him. There is a girl and a boy there, Frankie and Max, who are obviously close and obviously fond of him as they hurry to his side, Max sitting aside him and Frankie strumming her guitar. There is a mark on his face, a bruise and swelling around the right eye and they question him on it. Frankie breaks out into a ditty about him as Max takes turns attempting to figure out exactly what hit him, as if it is a game, as if this is not uncommon. (Song is
here 0:00 to 0:41) Timothy responds with dismissal, a conversation is shared about Frankies own sexuality and her relationship with Max. The three leave, playful amongst one another.
MOM
"You know what I'm sacrificing?!"
0:08:31 to 0:09:23
(s u m m a r y) Set at Timothy's home, himself and his friends (Frankie and Max) raid the house for food, ignoring his mothers calls for assistance with the groceries. Her passive remarks "thank's for the help boys" are left in silence until she approaches Timothy in question, who turns to reveal the circular bruise around his right eye, eating chips calmly while looking like he is not interested in his mothers presence within the room. Upon seeing the injury, his mother becomes angry when Timothy insists "it was an accident". Tossing the drying rack full of dishes onto the floor, the reply by her is "so was that", then an snippy conversation begins when she questions why she had worked so hard to recently enroll him in the private school he currently attends. Timothy, helping to pick up the dishes, questions if she had finally got a job. The mother continues though, saying that "your father was right, should just lock you up in your room". Angered suddenly, Timothy claims that he does not have a father and leaves without another word, abandoning the mess on the floor, his friends in the kitchen and his mother.
AUDITION
"I was about to make a fool of myself."
0:15:20 to 0:17:30
♫
(s u m m a r y) Midway into an audition of sorts, Timothy is on stage while the teacher and director of the play sits at the piano playing amongst the ivories. (Song is
here 0:00 to 2:08) At first it is simple, just a repetition of notes amongst hums and inclines of the voice, taking time to get used to a tune. He is nervous at first, openly so in which he is tense until the teacher replies "with the lyrics now--deep breath" and then the boy parts his lips and sings, the sound of his voice growing in a steadiness of passion. The memory cuts at a crescendo, as if something has interrupted it.
DINNER
"He's the main fairy."
0:19:48 to 0:20:22
(s u m m a r y) Timothy has sat down to dinner with his mother and friends (Frankie and Max). Spaghetti is the food on their plates and the memory has picked up midway through a conversation about Timothy's success in the play A Midsummer Nights Dream in the role of Puck, a fairy--something his mother does not seem pleased with. Frankie seems happy, content and Max is shoving his face adding in idle talk. It is obvious here that Frankie is the system of support to Timothy, his mother providing nothing but sarcastic remarks in reply. Timothy comments the food, something ignored by his mother, and then Frankie hands her the designs she has made for what seems a set of wings. "Sick, aren't they?" She offers them over. "Sick." Replies his mother, looking annoyed as she implies it is literally what the whole thing is. The dinner table goes silence and things become awkward as Frankie folds up the paper.
JOCK BOY
"I think he wants to kick my ass."
0:23:21 to 0:24:10
(s u m m a r y) It's raining outside as seen on the windows and Timothy sits with Frankie who is lounging comfortably in his bed amongst the cluttered surroundings of his room, strumming her guitar. Timothy's voice breaks the noise with "Jock boy?" In which Frankie implies whoever this is wants him, only to have Timothy deny it. The conversation turns to Max and Frankie quickly by Timothy's smooth change of subject and another ditty is shared in which Frankie implies that while she has tried her advances on him, Max must certainly be gay. The lights and sounds of a car rolling in are heard, Timothy calls out for his mother to see if she is home. With no reply, he walks out of the room.
CAR TALK claιмed → damian
"Why are you gay? What did I do?"
0:24:11 to 0:25:54
(s u m m a r y) Rain slides down the surface of the car and Timothy enters where his mother is sitting, looking tired and worn out with the music, lights and windshield wipers still on. Closing the door he asks "where are we going?", he turns off the music when his mother implies he will catch a cold. A smile, and he attempts to please her, commenting that she looks beautiful even though she does not seem to believe him. The conversation turns to her job, talking about her frustrations with the line of work in house-to-house sales cosmetics. The situation turns south though when she mentions that she misses Timothy's father, whose only reply was "dad an asshole." An argument arises in which his mother claims they were better off and Timothy shuts down, pretending to not hear her. She states that he did not try, he claims he kicked him out and his mother snips that he must find Frankie a better mother. "You're my mother! Like it or not." Silence prevails for a moment before his mother questions why he is gay, obviously feeling that it is her fault. Timothy's rebuttal starts a rant that "I come out of the closet everyday, just like you do.". The scene ends in awkward silence after a claim that she was trying, the two sitting in the car.

FAGGOT claιмed → tim
"Aw, look who just flew in from fairy land."
0:30:09 to 0:30:55
☆
(s u m m a r y) Timothy is walking down a hallway within his school, approaching a line of lockers. On one, that is his own as he is opens it--it reads FAGGOT in large black letters, something obviously placed there recently as his reply is frustration, and while not obvious, the way he looks and worries the flesh of his lower lip between his teeth, the way that he pulls out items from within suggestions anger. The memory cuts, a group of boys play rugby on a field being watched by two girls on the bleachers. Timothy approaches them aggressively, demanding to know if it was them who did it, throwing his things down. Aggression is met with sharp replies as Timothy implies it was there doing, quick to anger suddenly after being so calm, after holding it all in so well. Jonathon is there, he tries to lead Timothy away but he moves to shove one of the rugby players--a confrontation ensues in which it is obvious Timothy does not have the upper hand. He is defeated, Jonathon pulls one of his team-mates off of the other stating "leave the pansy alone" before both sets part ways.
PRACTICE
"I'll put a girdle round about the earth in forty minutes."
0:31:05 to 0:31:56
(s u m m a r y) Dusk is approaching and Timothy is opens the door of his room and steps in, turning on the lights as he enters in mid-motion, taking off his over shirt and sitting down on the bed. It is obvious he is in the mood to distract himself, it is obvious he is bothered or upset by something by the severity on his face and he takes the text of the play from his bag and moves back to the corner of the room that holds his desk, sitting down with a huff of breath and thumbing through the pages. He repeats a line over and over again, trying to get the feel for it, quietly frustrated. Silence, after tapping his hand on the wooden surface he pulls the book up towards his face. There is a faint illumination but the memory cuts as quickly as realization comes that there is.
SING claιмed → roxas
"Now with deft and musical note, rejoice."
0:32:42 to 0:33:59
(s u m m a r y) Timothy is looking upon the book carefully, his eyes over the pages and he suddenly stands as if something has come to him. The memory is full of him moving, taking a bowl and adding into it various items after searching and rooting around his room and shelves within as if in a hurry. He sits as his desk with the bowl, adding obvious items like water from a mug, a type of spice, rocks--he refers to the book every now and then as if reading a recipe. Striking a match he throws it into the bowl and then blows a long breath within, turning it around and mixing it. One, two, three audible and quick breaths later looking between the bowl and the text, he stands up and sits down upon his bed with both items. Opening the text, he thumbs through the pages which are all blank and remain so until he comes upon one which has the word SING printed there and that is it.
DAYDREAM 3/3 claιмed → sasha
"That I am not, I am not afraid--I am not afraid."
0:04:29 to
♫ ☆
(s u m m a r y) Sitting upon his bed, Timothy looks away from the pages of a text that say SING. A glance, a small furrowing of his brow and he is looking down again into which words appear in script upon the following pages. Looking up, he seems to contemplate something before parting his lips and his voice spills out. "I see their knavery, this is to make an ass of me. To fright me, if they could--" so with a cue to music, he turns his head and upon the right side of his face there is a design painted there. The daydream moves on-- (Song and scene is located
HERE. It's a little hard to describe, so likely watching the part is easier. Sections can be taken from the daydream, as it does not have to be all of it that is shared.)
FRONT PORCH claιмed → jonathon
"If you could make someone love you, would you?"
0:41:23 to 0:42:18
(s u m m a r y) Riding his bike up to another home, Frankie sits in her pajama's and bathrobe on the front porch, looking tired as Timothy approaches, dropping his bike off and walking up to side on the step below her. He is worked up about something, they speak of love and Frankie informs him she was asleep, hinting he woke her telling her to meet him outside. Max is mentioned, Timothy implies that he likes her and uses it as an excuse to talk to her in that moment. "There was an accident," is the reply after heavy hesitance and after expressed curiosity from Frankie he continues with "I'll fix it" as they link hands.
THE BEGINNING
"Aw, fairy brought his own props."
0:44:10 to 0:45:14
☆
(s u m m a r y) The stage has been set for the play and the actors are upon it. Timothy is called on stage during this rehearsal dressed within the wings his mother has made him from the fabric of her wedding dress, a purple flower that seems hand made is on his belt. Going about his lines, Jonathon (Lysander) and his counter-part in roles lay on the floor pretending to sleep. As the scene progresses, in an action a clearing of the throat poorly hides the word fag in reply. Yet, not seeming worried, only more determined after he drops near Jonathon, speaking his lines and before the memory cuts, he pulls the flower towards his face.
TREE TALK claιмed → tim
"Yeah, trying looking at it through my eyes."
0:53:44 to 0:54:31
☆
(s u m m a r y) Sitting in a tree during the night, in the background a festival of sorts that seems warm and light seems to be occurring. It is Jonathon and Timothy and they speak to one another, the air significantly lighter in comparison to any early memories with them one might have seen. Jonathon is smiling, Timothy speaks of his dislike for the town, how eager he is to leave even though the other is quick to reply that "It's not that bad." Disagreeing, he speaks about how his mother is only truly his mother on a good day, how he does not want to go back to real life and even though Jonathon says it is, Timothy is quick to claim that it is "so, so far from where I woke up this morning."
CONFRENTATION claιмed → kate
"Timothy, have we had our fun yet?"
0:56:53 to 0:57:37
☆
(s u m m a r y) The memory opens up to argument between Max and Jonathon, claiming that they will fight each other--for what that remains unknown. Timothy is there, as is Frankie who jumps onto Max's back in attempts to pull him back from Jonathon. Throwing her off, he turns to her and tells her that "be certain, I don't love you anymore" and soon after, Jonathon and Max leave the scene. On the ground, two girls scramble to help Frankie up and as does Timothy but as he does he is shoved away and back-handed by the other who ignores him and leaves. Left behind, a woman, his teacher and director of the play, shows up and questions if he has finished his fun. Not replying, Timothy leaves with hesitation then quick haste.
BIKE RIDE
"The course of true love never did run smooth."
0:57:38 to 0:57:53
(s u m m a r y) Timothy places the wings on his body. He mounts his bike and rides through the streets with determination as the fabric flows behind him, hands clenched tight around the handle bars, flower upon his hip.
