Quickie Weekend Update
Saturday - Spent the day wenching about with allgudallthetim and guy_todd. Almost as soon as I got in the gate, heard from marrus that they’d already cancelled faire on Sunday due to the impending arrival of Frankenstorm. So after dinner, we tore down the encampment and cleared out.
Needless to say, I did NOT get my German on today. Instead I crashed in Barb's hotel room, then after a lazy breakfast, took the long way home to enjoy the last of the fall foliage before Sandy comes and knocks all the leaves down.
Damn, I wish I’d brought my work laptop home on Friday. Sandy wasn’t supposed to arrive until Tuesday. We’ve already got a state of emergency here in MA. Unless I want to use a vacation day, I've got to go into the office tomorrow to at least grab my laptop.
For some reason I’m really beat. So I’m going to bed early. I’ll write more about my weekend tomorrow.
