Woah, has it really been 15 years?
Today is the Ides of March.
Fifteen years ago I got fired from my teaching job on the Ides of March. I wrote a little bit about it here back in 2007.
Damn, has it really been that long since I’ve been in the classroom? Time flies, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long. And I think I’m finally OK with the path my life has taken since then. While I enjoyed teaching a great deal and miss working with teens, I think that technical writing is a much better fit for my personality. Not to mention the fact that I’m making twice as much money. Always a bonus! ;-)
