As if my looming birthday (tomorrow) wasn’t enough. Buzzfeed is making fun of the TV show Friends (Which ran from 1994 - 2004) for being “old fashioned.” And a bunch of the stuff they’re mocking? Wow, really makes me feel my age. =(
#14 - People still use actual cameras. Maybe not with film, but non-phone cameras still exist.
#19 - OK, you rarely see pay phones anymore.
#20 - Or phone books
#22 - But I still know people who buy CDs. I think it’s a little early to mock people for having CD towers.
#26 - I didn’t even realize Ice Capades had gone out of business. I mean, there’s still ice shows (Disney on Ice manages to ruin parking about every other Birka).
At least two of three of the other jokes could still work (but maybe not be quite as funny). But wow, being cruelly mocked for stuff that happened 10 - 20 years ago. WTF with the youth culture Buzzfeed? Wait until you're out of your twenties and see what it feels like.
