Stumbling across this article listing the
daily word counts of 39 famous authors this morning was a good thing. I’m always curious how productive the pros are. And it’s nice to see the wide range (500 - 6,000 a day, we’ll consider Michael Crighton an outlier with his 10K words a day!). The vast majority seem to clock in somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 words a day.
