The carpets I was saying are probably ruined.
The front walkway, which really did NOT need to be sealed. If we did this for improved aesthetics, we absolutely failed. It looks worse now than it did before.
I have no idea how we're going to clean the tar off the carpeting in the vestibule. Again, even if we replace the carpets, we've still got those big tarry footprints on the metal edge of the doorframe.
The worst part? There was a big (expendable, replaceable) floor mat hanging on the railing right outside the door. Why didn't someone throw it down in the vestibule? *cries*
What kills me is it looks like someone walked into the building, and then tried to scrape the tar off their shoes using the carpeting on the bottom step. I mean, who does that?
