Wednesday - Getting Things Done
Stuff I managed to get done on Wednesday:
• Wrote two cover letters.
• Sent off my resume to apply for two jobs (Both places where I have former co-workers who can put in a good word for me).
• E-mailed five potential references (BlackOps co-workers) and asked if I can use them as a reference, and what contact info they want me to give to potential employers, etc.
• Ran out to Barnes and Nobles to pick up the new Her Royal Spyness mystery. Amazon says it’s out today, but it wasn’t in stock at Barnes and Nobles. Poop!
• Washed a load of laundry (whites) and put away all the clean laundry.
• Watched Four Weddings and a Funeral on cable (The song “Love is all around me” that I know from Love Actually plays over the end credits! I didn’t realize that was an actual song. And how weird that Hugh Grant is in two movies with the same song on the soundtrack?).
• Ran errands to Michaels (crafts stuff) and Target (miscellaneous).
• Emptied four of my dresser drawers, sorted the clothes into keep, throw, donate, and put back what I was planning to keep.
So I heard back from Work Husband, they actually hired two writers last month. Good. That makes me feel better. Also, hilarious how fast EVP can get a req filled when he actually wants to hire someone…
